Cultural Diversity Consulting
If all your employees are
of the same race, sex, color, national origin and religion you will have
little need for training in cultural diversity issues. If however, this is
not the case, learning more about how to take advantage of your most
valuable resource can be your most important investment. It is also critical to understand the differences in people; their values, beliefs, and even the behavioral differences. This will play a major role in getting the most of your workforce, but just as important is the fact that something as simple as a hand gesture can seriously offend someone.
These are but a few of the reasons why cultural
diversity should be studied. Effective leadership in such a global
marketplace requires an understanding of diversity. |
